The Oppression of Everyday Life

We are born into bondage and confined by the context we find ourselves in. There is no escape from the realities of our existence. We are both the oppressed and our own oppressors, complicit in the cycle. The oppression of everyday life is the exertion of power not only from institutions and states but from daily life itself.

Our birth into this world confines our being in space and time, which define the limits of potential. History is the captain of the ship that has already set sail in an endless ocean. Life is not always pleasant.
